Domeau & Pérès x Pharrell - Perspective Chair

Ok, so this post is so last year, i knowwww, but i have to post it into my archive anyway.. Honestly, in my opinion, this chair design it´s not a big deal, actually, looks heavy in the shape context... But still cool and catchy. (I admit that its not only because of the chair!!!!!! ahahhahaah)

The chair below is called Perspective. It was designed by Pharrell in collaboration with Domeau and Pérès who built it and will be making the additional chairs. The chair, as well as another chair design and a table will be part of a show in Paris at the prestigious Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie. The show will be from October 21st 2008 until January 10th 2009. The chairs will be available in a few colors and only 4 of each will be sold. The chair below represents the love between a woman and man.

Bill McMullen is widely known as one of the Beastie Boys' graphic designers (we're talking "Hello Nasty" and beyond here), he is also well known for his limited edition "action" figures which were sold at Kidrobot while they lasted. Some people remember the sick designs he did for the seminal skate store, SWISHNYC, while others recall his mad DJing skills. And he has many fans for his designs for the Criterion Collection. Did we mention the NYC line of sneakers that he designed for Adidas? It is just too much.

I already have a limited edition toy by the American Mixtape Project but i really want one of those drum machine rings! DOPE

"Ms. Kashper...was instantly attracted to the 7,200-square foot loft" — ummm, who wouldn't be? The New York Times gives us a peek into the ginormous SoHo loft of architect Natalya Kashper and her family. For its immense size, the apartment is very sparsely furnished and the gut renovation accentuates original features of the building while hiding modern mechanical functions — though it is anything but "minimalist"...
